Popular Nigerian singer, Bella Shmurda, has spoken candidly about the deep emotional impact the passing of his close friend and collaborator, Mohbad, has had on him, revealing that the tragic event completely changed the way he views life.
During a recent livestream conversation with TikToker Joblaq, Bella opened up on his journey of rediscovery, admitting that Mohbad’s death was a turning point in his life that shifted his mindset and brought a new sense of clarity about existence, friendship, and priorities.
“RIP… I don’t want to mention names. After he passed away, my brain reset, everything changed. The way I see things in life also changed,” Bella expressed, reflecting on the devastating loss. He explained that losing Mohbad was not just the death of a friend, but a painful wake-up call that reshaped his entire perspective.
Sharing more about his feelings, Bella likened his current stage of life to lessons often taught by parents, saying he has come to understand many things that once seemed confusing. “There’s a time that our parents used to tell us when we misbehave, ‘Don’t worry, very soon you will understand.’ I’m currently in that phase where I’m starting to understand. I have understood certain things,” he added with deep emotion.
